Who Should Attend and Why

If you’ve ever had questions about how a NAVHDA test is judged, the Aims and Rules Clinic is for you. Ninety percent of handlers who file complaints about their scores have never participated in an Aims and Rules Clinic. This clinic is about understanding the NAVHDA standards and how they are interpreted. If you are planning on only testing your pup in Natural Ability and nothing else, this class will be valuable to you. If you are planning on testing in Utility Preparatory or Utility, this clinic may be the missing piece of the puzzle. Want more information? What to Bring

The most important things to bring are a good attitude and a way to take notes. Also be prepared for typical Spring weather conditions–from cold to hot or wet to dry–so dress accordingly. You won’t need your dog for the clinic, but if your dog is joining you anyway, be sure to bring a way to stake them out or to keep them contained. Montana Sharptail will provide a continental breakfast (pastries, etc.) and sandwiches for lunch. If you want anything else, please bring food for yourself.
